In this Art and Gardening post:

My first drawing in my outdoor flower studio, my latest plant buys with prices and suppliers and an art update with what's going on in my indoor flower studio. I hope you enjoy this post.

On a beautiful April morning I got out into my garden studio to make my first drawing of this year. The short video below shows what a lovely day it was and the delicate drawing of the first 2 rose blooms to appear.

Garden Developments:

The hard landscaping is still to be started but I have bought some great bargain additions to my flower palette. Costco Hypermarkets in the UK are selling 9 bedding plants for £10.00. I bought some soft creamy pale pink fushias and some white and lilac rain daisies to add to my pots. I also bought a purple/pink bouganvillea for £13.99 so I will be out in the garden again planting these over the bank holiday weekend. I hope it stays fine.

Creamy pink fushias, rain daisies and bougainvillea plants.

ART UPDATE:

I am behind with my calender paintings but March is underway now. I need to get a move on with these. It's daffodils, hyacinths, cherry blossoms and ladybirds for the March page.
