"From Darkness to Blooms: How Art, Gardening & Watercolour Painting Inspired a New Life"

Having worked as a designer for many years, life suddenly changed for me and I found myself at home with time on my hands. I decided to paint watercolour flowers, then I decided I wanted to plant flowers too so I can paint and draw in my own garden.

I have a tiny garden. Do I wish it was bigger, sure. Am I complaining about it - never. Why, because I love it anyway and feel blessed to own my own small patch. I have been thinking of a way to use my garden to grow the flowers I love the best, roses, tearoses and peonies, that I would otherwise buy, travel to see or have bought for me. This blog hopes to show my progress (or otherwise) for all the world (or otherwise) to see .
